Quickie F-14 Tomcat Update

For Tomcat lovers ONLY:

I’m down to the final 11 sets in 1/48 of my VF-213 Black Lions, VF-31 Tomcatters, and VF-103 Jolly Rogers Tomcats. Note this includes the additional special decal sheet with the updated marking for CAPT Dana “Smudge” Potts’ “Yellow Rose Of Texas” nose art F-14B after he became CAG-17. I still have a few of the other 1/48 & 1/32 Tomcat decal sets around.

1/48 Decal Set

F-14B/D “Cool Toms” #2. MULTIPLE SHEET SET! This is the third most popular Yellowhammer decal we ever produced. First is the F-14D “skipper’s bird” of VF-213 “Black Lions” flown by CDR Skip King in combat in Afghanistan. This is perhaps the most remarkable Tomcat scheme ever seen, with a huge artistic gray “lion’s head” painted on the nose radome. Next is the brightly colored red-tailed F-14D “skipper’s bird” of VF-31 Tomcatters flown by CDR Paul “Butkus” Haas, as seen in May 2001. Quite a remarkable scheme! Finally — and this is a VERY special combination — is the LANTIRN configured VF-103 “Jolly Rogers” low-viz CAG bird flown in combat over Bosnia, with mission markings, flown by CAPT Rodger Welch (CAG) and CAPT Dana Potts (DCAG) in early 2001. AS A ONE-TIME BONUS OFFER, I’ll throw in an additional decal set for you for no additional cost (it was originally only offered only as a separate item): the Yellowhammer Decals set for this same F-14B after CAPT Potts took over as CAG and added “San Antonio Rose” nose art to the bird! This separate decal sheet includes different crew names (CAPT Potts (CAG) & CAPT Guadaganini (DCAG), the nose art, and other markings changes from the scheme included with the main decal set. Final 11 sets still available.
