AVG Tomahawks #1. I really love those Flying Tiger (AVG) Tomahawks! This is our P-40 Tomahawks #1, and the first subject is Hawk 81-A-2 (P-40B), David Lee “Tex” Hill, 2nd PS, American Volunteer Group, Burma, 1942. The second is the Hawk 81-A-2 (P-40B) flown by Charles Bond, 1st PS, American Volunteer Group, Loiwing, China, 1942. Bond told us he had kill markings painted on his plane, but knew of no photos showing them; we’ve included them on the decal sheet to give you a choice.
