I will add FAQs to this list as time goes on, so check back as necessary.

    • The most frequent question I receive is “is XYZ resin set available?” NO — there are NO resin sets available.
    • Your credit card or PayPal statement will show your order was processed by “Asphaleia Business Systems Ltd” (my holding company that processes all my financial transactions), so don’t be surprised when you see that name rather than “Fine Art Of Decals.”
    • Shipping Policies

Domestic (Inside the United States)

Shipping to US addresses is a flat $5.00! I don’t care where you actually live, as long as the shipping address is in the US, I’ll ship any number of decal sets for $5.00. I normally ship once per week, on Mondays.

International

Shipping to all international addresses is a flat $18.00 for as many decal sets as you wish to purchase in a single transaction. This means if you buy one decal set, the shipping charge is $18.00. If you buy 10 decal sets, you’ll still be charged only $18.00.

I do not know about the postal services in your country, but the US Postal Service is for all practical purposes a criminal enterprise–high prices and extremely poor service.  Nonetheless, I have no control over international postage rates, which are set twice a year by the Universal Postal Union.  I want you to sit down when you read this because the shock may cause you to fall over: postal rates EVERYWHERE in the world only go UP, never down, and you can expect zero improvement in actual service.

For example, the US Postal Service charges extra for package tracking (which I must use for all packages), but their own regulations DO NOT REQUIRE THEM TO ACTUALLY TRACK A PACKAGE THE SENDER PAID EXTRA FOR!  This may or may not be true in your country’s postal service as well, but in some cases the tracking number I provide to you may not be actually tracked–usually it is, but I need to warn you now that there’s a small chance it might not.  On top of that, once the package arrives in your country it may or may not be tracked there.  Again, I have ZERO control over this–and neither does any other US seller–so the best I can do is warn you of potential shipping problems.  You most likely will not experience any shipping issues, but it happens often enough that I owe it to you as a fellow modeler to issue this alert.

Due to repeated and massive fraud, I will no longer ship to Argentina, Communist China, Russia, or South Korea. If you order and your shipping or billing address is in one of these countries, I will refund your payment.

Recorded Delivery

I normally ship once per week, on Mondays. All shipments are sent with delivery confirmation. There are no exceptions, and this service is included in the shipping charge.

Also, I cannot combine multiple order shipping, which means that if you order three times in one week, you’ll receive three packages from me. Ridiculous, right?? I agree, but three of our fellow modelers have seriously screwed me by asking me to combine shipping, then claiming I shipped only one order rather than the two or three actually included in the same package. As the result I’ve lost hundreds of dollars due to their dishonesty, and they’ve prevented everybody else from getting what should be obvious. Sorry about that.

Multiple Orders During The Same Calendar Week

Thanks to multitple dishonest “fellow modelers,” who by their dishonesty have cost me hundreds of dollars, I CAN NO LONGER COMBINE MULTIPLE ORDERS. If you order more than once during a calendar week, you will receive one package for each order. Each package is tracked to verify delivery.

    • Some Of These Decal Sets Are Occasionally Available On eBay. Can I Buy There?

Absolutely. You have the ultimate say about where you make your modeling purchases. eBay is a great marketplace, and if you’re happy with paying the typical prices for Cutting Edge, PYN-up, and Yellowhammer decals on eBay, jump to it! I do not currently sell these decal sets on eBay, but may possibly offer them at much higher prices on eBay later.

    • Can I Buy These Decal Sets From Other Online (Or Storefront) Hobby Shops?

No. I’m doing this from my home on a very part-time basis. I cannot take the time to deal with all the issues of dealing with trade customers as well as you, a real modeler. I prefer to work directly with you and meet your needs, without any necessity of dealing with intermediaries.

    • All Sales Are Final

All sales are final. In the unlikely situation where a decal set has as manufacturing defect, refund or replacement will be made upon return of the defective item to me in undamaged condition.

    • If You Were A Tree, What Kind Of Tree Would You Be?

WTF!! What the hell kind of question is that?

    • Payment Options

I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal, and all orders must be processed through this website. I CANNOT accept American Express, checks, cash, cattle, chickens. goats, or mail orders.  I will consider payment in legitimate reindeer eggs, but they must be “certified fresh” in advance.

    • Out Of Stock Items

I make strong efforts to keep the website catalog pages completely up-to-date by removing sold out decal sets. It’s normally accurate, but I cannot guarantee it will be in all cases. Any set you order that is permanently out of stock at the time of order will be refunded ASAP.

    • Do You Sell At Model Shows?
