PYN-up Decals Thunderbolts #2. This set has gone on eBay for over $200! P-47D-28-RA, “Dottie Mae,” 405 FG/511 FS, Lt. L. A. Kuhl, Straubing, Germany, Spring 1945. This was probably the last P-47 lost in combat during the European war. This aircraft was recently recovered from a lake in Austria and is being restored to flying condition-a real combat veteran! The second plane is P-47D-28-RA, “Shack Rat,” 42-28627, UN*M, 56 FG/63 FS, Boxted, England, 1944. This large two-decal-sheet set contains all markings, including full stenciling, AND the normal gorgeous PYN-up Decals nose art decals that make PYN-up Decals the Fine Art of Decals(tm)!
