Exciting Fw 190s #2. First is the very famous Fw 190A-7, Red 13, flown by Major Heinz Baer (Bar) while he was in II./JG 1 at Rheine in March 1944. The white rudder with wreath commemorating 200 kills, red RV band, and yellow under-nose are striking. The second bird is an Fw 190A-6, Black <+I, flown by Major Anton Hackl, Stab III./JG 11, Oldenburg, Germany, April 1944. Note the all-white fin and rudder with Hackl's 141 kills to date, yellow RV band, and yellow under-cowl. The final ship is an Fw 190A-7, Yellow 6, flown by Fw. Gerhard Giese, 3./JG 1, Feb. 8, 1944. The black/white striped cowl and red RV band are hard to miss!
