The final subject is P-36A, #86, 46th Pursuit Squadron, 15th Pursuit Group, Lt. Phil Rasmussen, Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941 (credited with one Zero kill). Rudely awakened by the Japanese attack, Rasmussen took off wearing his pajamas and landed after shooting down one Zero and receiving over 500 bullet holes in his plane.
