Description
Dramatic Late-War Bf 109G-10s #2. First is a Bf 109G-10 at Praha (Prague) in 1945, with a White 4 in a large and unusual style. It featured the white/blue quartered RV band of KG(J) 54. The second is a Bf 109G-10, Green 1, Stab/JG77, WNr. 784930, 1945. Note the green/white RV band and subcontractor-built wooden rudder with splotched camouflage. The final Bf 109G-10 was named “Gisela,” and was Red 12 of 2./JG 300, flown by Uffz. Dahmen, Borkheide, Germany, Oct. 1944. The solid red RV band and overpainted earlier tactical number are quite eye-catching!
