Description
Zirkus Rosarius #3. This is a continuation of our earlier sets portraying Allied aircraft flown by the Versuchsband (Luftwaffe Trials and Research Unit). All birds were painted in the standard captured aircraft test scheme of RLM 74 over RLM 04. First is P-51B, T9+CK, of 2./VVB OKL, Wunstorf, Summer 1944. Next is the Spitfire XI formerly of 412 Sq, RCAF, now coded T9+EK, again from 2./VVB OKL, Neumark, Summer 1944. The final ship is the former 486 Sq RNZAF Typhoon Ia now coded T9+GK, 2./VVB OKL, Neumark, Summer 1944. These are truly unexpected and eye-catching standouts in any model collection.
