Description
Pretty Fillies P-51s #3 PYN-up Decals. This set features two Yoxford Boys P-51Ds and our remarkable PYN-up nose art decals. The first Mustang is the relatively little known “Temptation,” but which carried extremely large (for a P-51) and well-done nose art. This ship is P-51D-10-NA, 357 FG/362 FS, Lt Matthew Martin, Leiston, England, Late 1944. The second ship was flown by 7-victory ace Lt Robert Becker. It is P-51B-15-NA, 357 FG/362 FS, Leiston, England, April 1944. The plane had a tiger head insignia on the nose, and some time after Becker’s third victory was painted on the ship the name Sebastian was added. Note the overpainted white ID band on the fin; the white stripes on the wings and horizontal stabilizers remained.
