PYN-up Decals Bomber Babes Part 1:. Two of the most famous B-29s with remarkable nose art. The first is B-29-40-BW, 42-24592, “Dauntless Dotty” flown by Robert Morgan (former pilot of B-17F “Memphis Belle”) (named in honor of his wife), A Square 1, 869 BS/497 BG, Early 1945, Saipan, Marianas Islands. This was the first B-29 over Tokyo. The second is the stunning “Lucky Lady,” a B-29-50-BW, 42-24863, E Triangle 12, Harold Davis, 398 BS/504 BG, North Field, Tinian, March, 1945. BOTH planes include nose art that is similar (but different) on each side of the nose!
