The second is F6F-5, VF-31, USS Cabot, Lt Arthur Hawkins (5 kills in one mission). This scheme was researched with the help of CAPT Hawkins, and overall research was done by the inimitable Hal Tippens-as enthusiastic and exacting naval aircraft researcher as there ever was!
